Main (replacement) title (00.07). Workers (men, women, girls and boys) walk towards the
camera passing brick buildings on both sides. The women wear woollen shawls and boater hats; the
men flat caps. One man has a bicycle: a boy plays with a hoop and stick. A boy, (looking to
camera) takes a picture with a small hand-held camera. In the later frames a bowler-hatted man
with overcoat and cigar appears to be marshalling the workers. An elderly bearded, aproned worker
closes the gates and the children outside acknowledge the camera (02.01mins). Note: A boy stands
to the left of the screen holding a tall piece of apparatus. A tripod? Note: The factory made
linoleum.
