In this comic french film, Francis Reggio is a prison guard responsible for the ganster Moltès (who already killed several persons). 40 days before Moltès gets free, he wins the lottery. Reggio had asked his wife to validate the ticket the day before she decided to go to South Africa. Reggio can not find the winnig ticket and Moltès escapes the jail, thinking Reggio wants to keep the money for itself.
