An amateur film about a military refresher course in the year 1938.
The new motorised 10,5 cm Bofors cannon is pointed out.
In Wangen the corps is gathering, the men run through a medical check, the uniforms and the rest of the equipment are handed out. In between, shoots of the village Wangen are faded in.
Then follow exercises in the morning, a telephone line is build, lunch is given out.
The military convoy is heading for Central Switzerland, passing Brunnen on Lake Lucerne till "Klausen-Pass". In the mountains one learns to shoot with the new Bofors cannon. In the end of the refresher course the convoy moves to Kloten via Zurich, where the promenade by the lakeshore is filmed.
