In the period of 5th - 8th July 1929, based on the initiative raised by Nárohospodářský sbor (the National Economy Board), there was held an exhibition called A Year in Haná. The event was connected with an exhibition fair. Ceremony parade with people marching dressed up in Haná folk costumes and other ceremony guests were welcomed by the mayor of the town Libřický in front of the factory of the Wenke and Son Company. The event was also attended by the Chief Inspector Max Lederer, chief councillor Pacovský, the District Sheriff Stárek, Brigadier General Antonín Hasal, Chief Councillor Pinl, Senator Václav Sehnal and Minister of the Railway Josef Václav Najman. On the stadium you can see folk dances, in the park people are enjoying refreshment. At the end of the celebrations there were opened exhibition fairs, where visitors could see products made by the Václav Leip Company (motorcycles, bicycles, and gramophones), Arnošta Větvička Company (carpets and fabriques), Jan Trtílek Company (furs) and products of the engineering plant L. Grüner.
