The army officers of the Asia Minor campaign, Nikolaos Plastiras, Stilianos Gonatas and Dimitrios Fokas, formed a Revolutionary Committee, which appointed Eleutherios Venizelos as Greece’s delegate abroad. The committee also demanded the resignation of King Constantine.
