Introductory subtitles provide us with information concerning location, origin, area and nationalities of the Czechoslovak Republic. The first part of the film is dedicated to historical sights and other significant buildings and sights of the old Prague (Prague Castle, St. Nicolas Church on Malostranské náměstí, Charles Bridge, the Senate House - Rudolfinum, Staronová synagoga (synagogue), klášter křížovníků (monastery), the Old Town City Hall, Týn's Church, the Hus Memorial on the Old Town Square, Nová radnice (new city hall), the National Theatre, Stavovské divadlo (theatre), Wenceslas square, Na příkopech Street, Obecní dům (the Municipal House), Podolí childbirth ward, river spa in Podolí, Vyšehrad). The second part of the film documents weirs, sluice gates and sluices on the Vltava and Elbe Rivers in the vicinity of the town of Mělník (Vraňany, Lužec nad Vltavou, Hořín, Hadík, Obříství). The third part of the film introduces the stud farm located in the town of Kladruby nad Labem.
