Main title (replacement) (00:04) Men in uniform march past the camera. They wear
(probably) khaki uniforms with helmets and carry rifles. The occasional man has different
headgear. The parade passes (01.05). Cut to a row of very well dressed people (the men are in top
hats, the women in bonnets) including a man wearing a helmet with extensive plumage. A number of
soldiers talk to the plumed man and he gives each a small package (01.30). Cut to the men
marching towards and past the camera carrying a Union flag (02.01). Cut to shot of about four
soldiers with drums (02.14). Cut to soldiers and civilians standing and talking (02.31 min). Note
