This film goes into the traditional schoolparade and festivities in june 1965 in Burgdorf.
After a short introduction of the village we get to see some preparations. Garlands of flowers, wreath' and leis are made by women. Girls in white in a photoshooting.
The parade, led by cadets, takes schoolgirls and schoolboys, while carrying loads of flowers, through the village. Naturally there are horse drawn carriages and orchestras as well.
In the afternoon, the parade is led to Schützenmatt, a huge field, where games and dances are held.
