The film combines different material which proves that the anti-Semitic policies of the National Socialists were open and public (Special decrees, newspaper items, caricatures, public persecution, speeches, etc.) No one could ignore the burning synagogues. The silence of the Germans became guilt. The film urges to acknowledge this guilt.
