This scientific sex-education film follows the premise that the key to a happy marriage lies both in the good health of the individual partners and in pre-marital sex-education on the basis of the following five guiding principles: 1) only people of good health must marry, 2) concealing disease is a crime, 3) sexual matters must not be kept secret, 4) pregnancy and child birth are sacred natural phenomena and 5) the greatest joy of marriage is the birth of healthy children.


To illustrate these ideas the film uses animation sequences. As part of a broad health education campaign it was shown to the public in the 1920s.
