The film is composed of many different sequences. First, we see the Party Day in Munich in 1938. The filmmaker concentrates on the parading soldiers, but we also get to see a few nazi salutes next to the filmmaker. After the parade, we see how the streets of Munich look like on normal days. Policemen look after the trafic, people go to work.
After that, the film shows wintersports, be it as hobby or as part of a competition. We see alterning scenes of ice skating and hockey, with a few hints of the spectators and the way the ice is prepared. Then the film focuses on skiing. Several skiers ride down the same slope one after the other. Finally we see normal people skiing for fun, and in those scenes, images of the swiss alps are shown as well.
