Enter the fantasy world of a little girl and her even littler brother. One day, they play with bubbles and then decide to play hide and seek. They are confronted by a talking grandfather clock, who introduces them to a community of mischief-making clock-children. Little clocks go to school to learn time. After school, the clocks play football. The clockmaster fixes the alarm clock, who broke while playing the game. The scene returns to the two small children. The moral: don't play with clocks.
