Some biological data of flight of feral pigeons are presented and a method is explained to estimate flight speeds by lateral shot. Different ways of flight of the pigeon (climbing flight, decrease of speed, horizontal accelerated and not accelerated flapping flight) are described by means of characteristic configurations of typical flapping cycles copied of the film.
