The film first shows habitus, method of motion, and organization of the flatworm Archaphanostoma agile. To achieve the subsequent demonstration of food intake, diatomas were fed, and shots of copulation demonstrate the sperm transfer by means of hyperdermic injection. The ventral body wall ruptures an the eggs are pressed out. Finally, individual stages of embryo development are shown (spiral duet deavage) and hatching of the young.
