In der Siedlung Tetua dünstet eine Frau eine große, von einem Mann in 4 Stücke geschnittene Taroknolle in einem Erdofen. Sie legt die Stücke zusammen mit grünen Kokosnußhüllen auf erhitzte Korallenkalksteine, bedeckt sie mit Blättern, gießt ein wenig Süßwasser in die Mitte und deckt das ganze mit zwei alten Matten zu. Nach etwa 2 Stunden sind die Knollenstücke gar.
