In concentrations of 0.5 x 10{6} zoospores per ml aqua dest. aggregations of zoospores are first formed on the host leaves and attract further zoospores chemotactically. In the centre of aggregation the zoospores come to rest, encyst and germinate. The germination tubes respond chemotropically: the aggregation cysts grow outwardas from the centre while cysts outside the centre grow towards it. With time-lapse.
