Spontaneous trance dance which developed around 10 p.m. at Bere and which lasted with pauses till the next morning. The film shows the dancing around the women sitting on the ground clapping the rhythm and singing. The dancers extract the evil by touching the women with the palm. One dancer is repeatedly affected by trance. The expression of his suffering for the good of the group is impressive, particularly during the fits of trance in the early morning. Helpers endeavour by massage, washing his face and chest and giving him water to drink.
