Asian stalk-eyed fly. Head and thorax are groomed with the metatarsal grooming bristles of the front legs, the remainder of the body with the grooming bristles of the back legs. The grooming bristles are cleaned from time to time by rubbing them against one another. The grooming bristles and - less frequently - the ventral side of the body are also cleaned on the substratum. The animals were marked for individual recognition.
