"Grace And Strength" portraits the life and work of Berlin artist Georg Kolbe (04.15.1877 - 11.20.1947). Kolbe is considered to be the most successful sculptor of the first half of the 20th century. His idealistic nudes had a great influence on his generation. His masterpiece "Die Tänzerin" ("The Dancer") is one of the most well-known works of art of the 20th century. The film was presented in 1951 at the Venice Biennial as part of the competition of art history films.
