An elderly woman lives in an appartement in Paris. She brings back a flower pot from a walk. She throws away the old plant and replaces it with a bean. The woman takes care of the young plant with great care and pleasure and finally gives it a place in a public park. But one day, the gardeners pull the "weed", which was already in fruit, up. The elderly woman also takes the young beans, goes back home and replants them into the flower pot.
