Actuality. Two fire engines racing through a Dundee street. Replacement titles
(0.18).Shot of part of a street, with a large building in it and a group of pedestrians milling
about on the corner to the left of shot (0.24). A horse-drawn fire engine with at least six
firemen and a long ladder on board speeds by the pedestrians and turns into the street where the
camera is positioned. It goes briefly out of shot, then gallops past the camera, pedestrians
following along the pavement. Cut (0.33). Men and youngsters hover on the pavement edge looking
to their right. A young boy runs down the street. Another horse-drawn engine with about six
firemen (but no ladder) on board follows the same route as the first, with more pedestrians
turning into the street with the camera to follow the fire engine. End (0.44 seconds).
