The film shows an adult male Tasmanian devil (Sarcophilus harrisi) that never before killed a prey. In its outdoor enclosure it is seen catching two pigeons with their wings cut. Afterwards it is running for some minutes while carrying the prey in its mouth. Its average speed is 7,8 km/h. When the devil starts eating one of the pigeons, it sits down and his anterior paws help putting the pieces to its mouth. The pigeon is eaten completely, only the larger feathers are left behind.
