The head of Blockbuster Pictures, J.C. Bandwagon, sends his men out to find a "new talent" for his upcoming picture, "Top Cat" (not the TV series!). He sends out his talent scouts and they come back empty. He goes out looking himself, and when he approaches a woman, she screams and he lands in jail. He discovers a new Jimmy Cagney coming out of the bank, but the man proves to be a bank robber -- back to jail. He holds auditions and is unimpressed... until a marvelous cat appears. The cat sings "When You're Wearing The Right Kind Of Hat." He also does imitations, such as that of Winston Churchill in a bowler hat. (bcdb)
