In 1909, on the pages of “Corriere dei Piccoli", arrived the first heroes of American comics in Italy: Happy Hooligan, the mule Maud, Hans and Fritz, Tim Tyler and Spud Slavins, Flash Gordon, the Phantom, Disney characters, etc... Over the years comics change and evolve. Through his stories in comic format the graphic work of the comics artist Guido Crepax is explored, in particular its form, content and frequent references to the contemporary world. Beginning with architectural, media, literary and film associations and moving on to a symbiosis between the real world and a dream world.
