Midsummer. Shows Netsilik Eskimos at a site in their annual migration cycle. A family travels across the tundra to an inland camp. Tents are erected and a stone weir is built in the river rapids. As a woman works around the camp, men spear fish at the weir. Netsilik Eskimos at their inland river camp. Fishing for arctic char reaches a peak of activity with both men and women spearing the catch. After large hauls are pulled ashore, they pause to rest, cook, and eat. Later the fish are cleaned and dumped into large stone caches.
