Auf das kurz gehaltene Haar einer jungen verheirateten Frau setzt eine ältere eine kleine, baskenmützenähnliche rote Kopfbedeckung und heftet sie mit einfachen Nähstichen am Kopfhaar fest. Anschließend wird ein schmales Perlenband am Haaransatz, etwa 3-4 cm vom Hutrand entfernt, festgemacht. Zur Überbrückung des Zwischenstreifens benutzt man ein achtreihiges Perlenband, das bis zum Lederrock der Frau herabreicht.
