With the help of aerial photographs and graphics, the film illustrates the path of the Nile. The Nile is of great importance for the irrigation and because of the fertile silt deposits in the river oasis.
Significantly, the egyptian agriculture is dependent by the irrigation due to the intensivication. Therefore, in 1963 the Assuan Dam had been enlarged.
