The main character is a man named Arthur (George Brent) whose wife dominates him and whose neighbor annoys him because he has a loud dog. Once his wife leaves the town he seizes the opportunity to start an affair with a woman named Olive. In a turn of events, Olive falls unconscious in his apartment and he mistakes her for being dead. What follows is a bumpy ride filled with weird situations, which however can't be seen on this copy, since it only contains the first half of the film.
