This film describes episodes in the life of the canadian family Walker. The family consists of father, mother, 12-year old Lynn, 10-year old Jamie and 6-year old Duncan. Jamie is a dreamy boy, his school achievements are rather moderate but he is a gifted ice hockey player. The film shows a sibling rivalry problem of a middle-position child, who feels victimised in the family situation and responds by withdrawal and aggression.
