With the example of Heckler & Koch, the film discusses the issue of weapon exports to Third World countries. It shows how weapon manufacturers operate and outlines the relevant social and political interconnections of the business. The film poses the question whether - in this case in particular - the employees of such companies do not have a certain responsibility for the use of their products. A former employee of Heckler & Koch, who was dismissed because he brought this issue to the public and criticized the business conduct of the company's management, is interviewed. But also other opinions and arguments – for instance by members of the works committee and responsible politicians – are discussed. This also concerns the dilemma that almost the entire town is dependent on the work offered by the weapons factory and therefore moral and ethical questions are easily ignored.
