Der Film zeigt die Herstellung von Schokolade bei Sarotti und porträtiert hierbei die bekannte Süßwarenfabrik. Begonnen wird mit der Ernte der Kakaobohnen in Afrika, worauf die Bearbeitung der Bohnen folgt. Zu sehen ist die Herstellung von Kakaopulver bzw. von Schoko-Masse, die Verarbeitung zum Kakaokuchen, sowie die Herstellung von Milchschokolade. Die Pralinenproduktion findet am Fließband statt.
