Music teacher Malvina Adams who teaches at Newton High is asked to retire since her interest in her class seems to be decreasing each year. Trying to prove she's still got it, Adams composes a school anthem that somehow finds its way into the hands of Bob Crosby who turns it into an overnight hit. He then asks Malvina to join him in New York for the summer to compose other hit songs.
The print sadly ends in the middle of the final song.
