In 1927 the town of Ústí nad Labem hosted the Second Turner Gymnastic Feast. The town was decorated specially for this event. The decoration was made both by adults and children. The event was also attended by foreign guests (Austria). The participants received a warm welcome at the railway station, as well as in the town streets. The sport event took place on the newly constructed town's sport stadium. The spectators could watch the following sport disciplines there: long jump, foot race, discus throw, shot put, women's relay race, hurdle race, pole vault, gymnastic exercises performed by men, exercises on gears performed by men and women (parallel bars, side horse, horizontal bars), gymnastic exercises, gymnastic exercises performed by women (guests from Sweden), pole vault, wrestling, a football match, javelin, fencing. The event also included a parade of marching Turner members in the town streets. On the crowdy square the event participants worshipped the memory of the fallen in World War I. The end of the film is showing the climax of the sport programme on the stadium - gymnastic exercises performed by women and men.
