This film tells the story of a very average family in the 1970s. The wife, whose name is Yvonne, is rather frustrated because she doesn't really see her in the role society has placed her. This role being a stay-at-home mother who is financially dependent on her husband's income. In a fight of the couple she reveals that she has slept with another man. Her husband Andreas seems very sad about that, but is too ashamed to show his emotions.
