The second part of the "Through the World of Agriculture" series confronts the living conditions of farmers in the past with those in the time of the origin of the film. While once they had to work on their farmsteads alone, they now establish farm cooperatives and make use of modern equipment. Along this progress they are assisted by existence of scientific institutes, schools, periodic press, radio and film. In the caption, highlighted is the role of the Republican Party that defends interests of farmers and small farmers.
