The creative principles and dedication of one of the most famous and successful natural scientists and inventors of our nation, Professor Manfred von Ardenne, is the subject of this film. Through interviews, a look at von Ardenne’s everyday work together with his colleagues, explanations of the subjects of his research, public appearances before his students, film clips, and photographic records, a comprehensive portrait emerges, which also touches on his biography.
In a way, the film is a sequel to the documentary “The Know How of the White Deer” on Professor Manfred von Ardenne’s institute. Both films focus in particular on the circumstances which have helped to establish a creative atmosphere.
