Through interviews, a look at von Ardenne’s everyday work together with his colleagues, explanations of the subjects of his research, public appearances before his students, film clips, and photographic records, a comprehensive portrait emerges, which also touches on his biography.
In a way, the film is a sequel to the documentary “The Know How of the White Deer” on Professor Manfred von Ardenne’s institute. Both films focus in particular on the circumstances which have helped to establish a creative atmosphere.
