"This film document tells about an invalid couple, their life and hobbies. The wife is polio invalid, who is not able to work with her hands. The husband has gone through a heart attack, his right side is paralyzed. The wife has, at recommendation of her doctor, started to paint with the painting brush in her mouth. She is a member of an international organization consisting of invalids who are painting with the help of mouth or toes. The husband, too, has been painting earlier but has given up his hobby after the paralytic stroke. However he has stamina enough to learn to use his left hand and he can already draw slowly. It was the same hobbies and the resemblance of their destinies that made them grow attached to each other. The film reflects warm mutual understanding, devoted religiousness and, despite of many difficulties and limitations, radiant belief in the future." Unica Katalog
