From 1905 to World War I, members of the Industrial Workers of the World, nicknamed 'The Wobblies', traveled from coast to coast with "Solidarity" as their slogan and the goal of organizing unskilled workers into "One Big Union." The film integrates the songs of the period with photographs, newsreel footage, and contemporary interviews with remaining IWW members and thus provides a careful documentation of the cultural, political, labor and legal events of that time.
