The documentary shows how people in Peru are treated who work on the countryside. Not only do they make almost no money but their government also does not invest in their industry at all, since it is in huge debt and thus not interested in local workers.

The film also deals with maids who are forced to work in the city for rich landlords. They as well earn close to nothing and are heavily mistreated by their bosses. Because of that mistreatment, those women have now formed a self-defence group, which is also portrayed in this documentary.

However, the film also introduces us to another group of women, which was founded on the countryside. This group mostly focuses on women's rights and sees the emancipation of womankind as its main goal.
