A boy gives up his project to repair an old car in the yard. Instead he decides to visit the near General Motor's factory in Biel. As the entrance is strictly prohibited, he hides behind a train to get in.
Through the wondering eyes of the boy we observe all the different production steps and share his impression about the precision, the accurateness and the huge dimensions of the work done in this vast factory.
Naturally, the boy is discovered after a certain time, safed from a dangerous situation and simpathetically hidden from the watchmen.
He even gets the opportunity to see a film about the enterprise and is finally dismissed with the invitation to come back any time...
