Opens with a slow pan of fisherwomen filleting fish. Tweedale, [?]the Showman in a
white hat is seen urging women to work harder. Cuts to fishing fleet tied up at the quayside,
where baskets are unloaded. The showman then performances various antics to amuse, these include
trying to provoke a play fight. Note: Probably exhibited in conjunction with M & K 685:
Tynemouth Swimming Gala in the Haven (1901). Information supplied by David R. Williams, who
